This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and credit usage for Pix Banana AI image editing services.

AI Service Notice

Pix Banana is an independent AI service not affiliated with any model provider. We deploy and optimize open-source models to provide image editing capabilities.

Credits as Usage Units

Important: Credits are usage units for consuming AI image editing services. Credits are not a form of currency and have:

  • No Cash Value: Credits cannot be redeemed for money
  • Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred to other accounts
  • Non-Refundable: Once consumed, credits cannot be refunded
  • Non-Exchangeable: Credits cannot be exchanged for other products or services
  • Expiration: Credits expire according to your plan (see below)

Subscription Plans

Monthly Subscriptions

Refund Eligibility:

  • Refunds available within 7 days of purchase
  • Only if no credits have been used
  • Full refund of the subscription fee
  • Account will be downgraded to free tier

After 7 Days:

  • No refunds available
  • You may cancel to prevent future billing
  • Access continues until end of billing period

Cancellation:

  • Can be cancelled anytime
  • No refund for unused time in current period
  • Unused credits expire at end of billing period
  • No automatic renewal after cancellation

Yearly Subscriptions

Refund Eligibility:

  • Refunds available within 7 days of purchase
  • Only if no credits have been used
  • Full refund of the annual subscription fee
  • Account will be downgraded to free tier

After 7 Days:

  • No refunds for the annual fee
  • You may cancel to prevent renewal
  • Access continues for the full year purchased
  • Unused credits expire at end of subscription period

Cancellation:

  • Can be cancelled anytime
  • Prevents automatic renewal
  • No refund for unused portion of the year
  • Access remains active until subscription expires

Credit Packages (Pay-as-you-go)

One-Time Purchase Credits:

  • Non-Refundable: Credit purchases cannot be refunded once completed
  • Immediate Delivery: Credits are delivered instantly after payment
  • Service Rendered: Purchase of credits constitutes delivery of service
  • Expiration: Credits expire based on package terms

Exception:

  • Payment errors or duplicate charges will be refunded
  • Technical issues preventing credit delivery will be resolved or refunded

Credit Expiration

Credits expire according to your plan:

  • Monthly Subscription: Credits expire 30 days from grant date
  • Yearly Subscription: Credits expire 365 days from grant date
  • Pay-as-you-go Credits: Expiration varies by package (30-365 days)
  • Bonus Credits: May have different expiration terms

No Extensions: Expired credits cannot be recovered or extended

Failed Generation Refunds

If an image generation fails due to:

Technical Issues (Our Fault):

  • Full credit refund for the failed generation
  • Automatic refund processed immediately
  • No action required from user

Policy Violations (User Fault):

  • No credit refund
  • Content blocked for violating acceptable use policy
  • Credits consumed for processing attempt

User Error:

  • No credit refund for user mistakes
  • Incorrect prompts or settings
  • User-cancelled generations

Billing Issues

Payment Failures

  • Failed payments do not grant credits
  • Subscription suspended until payment succeeds
  • No charges for failed payment attempts

Duplicate Charges

  • Contact support@pixbanana.com immediately
  • Provide transaction IDs
  • Full refund processed within 5-7 business days

Incorrect Charges

  • Report within 30 days of charge
  • Provide detailed information
  • Investigation and resolution within 10 business days

Downgrade Policy

From Paid to Free

  • Immediate downgrade
  • Unused paid credits expire
  • No refund for unused subscription time
  • Free tier credits granted

Between Paid Tiers

  • Changes take effect at next billing cycle
  • Current period continues at current tier
  • No partial refunds or prorated charges

Special Circumstances

Account Termination

If we terminate your account for policy violations:

  • No refunds for any payments
  • Unused credits forfeited
  • Access immediately revoked

Service Discontinuation

If we discontinue Pix Banana:

  • Minimum 90 days notice
  • Pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time
  • Reasonable time to use remaining credits

Force Majeure

No refunds for service interruptions due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War or civil unrest
  • Government actions
  • Internet infrastructure failures
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Chargebacks

Important: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Loss of all credits and access
  • Permanent account ban
  • Legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
